Independent sealed-cup measurement: QTT report LH2025110014-1 (see below).

The H2 Quantum Flask is a 320 ml H88 hydrogen water bottle. QTT measured 8,600 PPB dissolved hydrogen in the sealed cup immediately after one 10-minute cycle and found ozone not detected in the water from the same submitted model under a separate report. Both tests were commissioned by the manufacturer and cover the samples tested, not every production unit. Platinum-titanium electrode plates with a DuPont Nafion N117 PEM/SPE membrane. Use low-mineral water (TDS below 5) for best results.

Use low-mineral water (TDS below 5).

QTT used Watsons distilled water for its two tests. The held factory-only water limit is contradicted by a comparable device and has not been confirmed for the production H88, so this page does not turn it into a customer instruction.

Only the fields explicitly tied to a report are third-party sample results. QTT measured 8,600 PPB in the sealed cup after a 10-minute cycle (LH2025110014-1) and found ozone not detected in water from an H88 after a 10-minute cycle (LH2025110015-1); both were commissioned by the manufacturer. The full PDFs and sample scope are on the certificates page.

Inside the cell
Platinum-titanium electrode plates and a DuPont Nafion N117 PEM/SPE membrane drive the electrolysis. The production electrode substrate and membrane make or part number have not been confirmed in writing.
Pressure-release opening
The lid includes a pressure-release opening. This page makes no claim about patent ownership or the production component's tested performance.
measured 8.6
PPM at end of cycle

QTT report LH2025110014-1 records 8,600 PPB in the sealed cup immediately after one 10-minute cycle on one submitted H88 sample; the manufacturer commissioned the report. The result is not a production guarantee, and dissolved hydrogen declines after opening.

Inside the bottle

What actually happens in ten minutes

Hydrogen water is water with molecular hydrogen dissolved in it. The H88 manufacturer lists 5- and 10-minute electrolysis cycles; platinum-titanium electrode plates and a DuPont Nafion N117 PEM/SPE membrane sit at the heart of the cell.

  1. 1 · Fill

Use low-mineral water (TDS below 5). QTT used distilled water for the published sample tests.

  2. 2 · Electrolyse

Select the 5- or 10-minute cycle. Platinum-titanium plates and the Nafion N117 membrane do the written confirmation.

  3. 3 · Separate

No separation-material claim is made. Separately, QTT found ozone not detected in the tested H88 water sample after one 10-minute cycle.

  4. 4 · Drink it straight away

Sealed, the water holds far more hydrogen than an open glass ever could. Opened, it starts escaping immediately, so this is a drink-it-now product, not a fill-it-and-forget one.

The documents behind this page

We hold eight third-party documents, published in full as PDFs. Each identifies H88, or its H88-ZQ-29 battery pack, but their scope differs: two QTT reports measure water from a submitted H88 sample, while the others cover submitted parts, transport, EMC or restricted substances. None is a blanket product or health approval.

  • BPA: not detected in the two submitted samples. Report ZTS26062239DRC identifies them as a Tritan cup body and aluminium lid. The electrode plate and membrane assembly were not submitted, the cited regulations do not align cleanly with the declared materials, and this is not FDA approval.
  • The submitted battery-pack samples passed all eight UN 38.3 tests, altitude, thermal cycling, vibration, shock, short circuit, crush, overcharge and forced discharge, when tested new and after 25 charge cycles. The report records 9.25 Wh but does not establish acceptance by any airline or itinerary.
  • Held CE EMC, FCC and RoHS documents list H88. They concern submitted samples or supplier declarations; they do not assess every production unit, electrical safety, water performance or health outcomes.
  • Only the two QTT reports measure the water. The 8,600 PPB sealed-cup result (report LH2025110014-1) and ozone-not-detected result each cover the submitted H88 sample under the stated test condition and were commissioned by the manufacturer.

Read every document How it compares

How much hydrogen does the H2 Quantum Flask produce?

The H88 is rated at 4,000 PPB in 5 min · 8,000 PPB in 10 min of dissolved molecular hydrogen. QTT report LH2025110014-1 records 8,600 PPB in the sealed cup immediately after one 10-minute cycle on one submitted H88 sample, under method T/GDID 1007-2018; the manufacturer commissioned the report. The result describes that sample and condition, not every production unit. Dissolved hydrogen declines after opening, so drink it fresh.

How long does one cycle take, and how long does a charge last?

The manufacturer lists 5- and 10-minute cycles. UN 38.3 report S03A25080547U00101 records the submitted H88-ZQ-29 battery pack at 2,500 mAh, 3.7 V and 9.25 Wh. Connector, charge time and cycles per charge have not been confirmed on a production H88, so no figure is published for them.

What water can I use?

Use low-mineral water (TDS below 5). QTT used Watsons distilled water for its published tests; that test condition does not establish compatibility with tap, mineral, filtered or other water. The usage instruction will stay unpublished until written production guidance is verified.

How do I clean it?

The manufacturer lists a self-cleaning feature, but its duration and the final care instructions have not been confirmed for the production unit. This page therefore does not prescribe a cleaning sequence.

Does it hold pressure?

The lid has a pressure-release opening, a feature also seen on comparable devices. Patent ownership does not match the manufacturer materials we reviewed, so Peakspan makes no patent claim. Production performance has not been independently tested by Peakspan.
