How to read a row

Three Marks, One Meaning Each

A specification is only worth as much as the source behind it. So every row on this page says where it came from before it says what it is.

Documented

A named third-party report backs this row

The report number, the issuing laboratory, the date, the standard and the sample are printed with it. You can open the full PDF on the documents page. A documented row still covers only the samples and conditions the report describes.

Factory record

The supplier’s own product record says this

Independent sealed-cup measurement: QTT report LH2025110014-1 (see below). Kettle rows carry the equivalent note against the W10-2 record.

Where a figure exists, the page names who measured it, on what, under which method, and at which moment.

At a glance

Bottle and Kettle, Side by Side

The two devices do not sit on the same evidence footing, so the first row of this table says so before anything else is compared.

Each cell carries its own mark. A figure in one column does not inherit the verification basis of the other.

Method behind that figureDocumented Standard T/GDID 1007-2018 (hydrogen-rich water concentration measurement). Watsons distilled water at 21.2 °C (74.3 °F); one 10-minute hydrogen cycle; measured immediately after the cycle, in the sealed cup. Laboratory conditions 21.2 °C and 43% relative humidity. Sample received 21 November 2025, tested 28 November 2025, report dated 1 December 2025, issued by Guangdong Quantum Testing Technology Co., Ltd (QTT), Foshan, Guangdong.
Cycle modesFactory record 5 or 10 minutes.
The electrolytic cell
Electrolysis systemFactory record PEM electrolysis with an SPE (solid polymer electrolyte) membrane. A solid-polymer-electrolyte design is meant to separate the gases formed at the electrodes instead of bubbling electrolysis by-products into the drinking water.
By-product gas separationFactory record The supplier describes the SPE/PEM cell as designed to separate by-product gases during operation, and instructs buyers to request model-specific test data before making performance claims. Design intent, not a tested zero-residual result.
Ozone resultDocumented QTT report LH2025110015-1 records ozone not detected (ND, mg/L) in water from one submitted H88 sample immediately after one 10-minute cycle, under GB/T 5750.11-2023, the drinking-water disinfectant-indices method. Same laboratory, same week, same submitted sample as the hydrogen report; the manufacturer commissioned it.
Vessel, seals and pressure
Body materialFactory record 100% BPA-free Tritan body; the supplier lists food-contact declarations as something to confirm per model.
Lid materialDocumented Report ZTS26062239DRC identifies the submitted lid sample as aluminium.
Bisphenol ADocumented Report ZTS26062239DRC records BPA not detected at a 0.05 mg/kg reporting limit by LC-MS/MS (CEN/TS 13130-13:2005) in the two submitted samples, the Tritan cup body and the aluminium lid. Extractives were below the stated limits under US FDA 21 CFR 177.1580(c)(2) and 21 CFR 175.300. The result is a pass for the two samples tested. This is a laboratory test report measured against FDA regulations; it is not an FDA approval, clearance, registration or endorsement.
Seals and gasketsFactory record Sealing runs through the cap, the threads, the gaskets, the vessel connection and the electrolysis-base assembly. Manufacturer guidance: seals are removable, must be reinstalled evenly, replaced with model-specific parts when damaged, and inspected monthly.
Pressure releaseFactory record A designed vent and pressure-management path; a pressure-release opening is visible in the lid. Manufacturer guidance: never block the vents or probe the release openings. No patent ownership claim is made.
Power and controls
Battery packDocumented UN 38.3 report S03A25080547U00101 records pack H88-ZQ-29 at 3.7 V, 2,500 mAh and 9.25 Wh, cell 112248 in a 1S2P arrangement. Issued by Guangdong ESTL Technology Co., Ltd, dated 22 August 2025.
Battery transport testingDocumented All eight UN 38.3 tests passed on the submitted pack samples, altitude, thermal cycling from +72 °C to −40 °C, vibration 7–200 Hz, shock, external short circuit, impact/crush, overcharge and forced discharge, tested new and again after 25 charge cycles. No leakage, venting, rupture or fire was recorded. The report does not establish acceptance by any carrier, route or baggage policy.
Battery chemistryDocumented Safety data sheet ZTS26062309YRM declares lithium cobalt oxide 49.5%, graphite 16.3%, lithium hexafluorophosphate 11.0%, aluminium 7.6% and copper 7.0%; classified as an article, transported under UN3480 / UN3481, Class 9 lithium battery mark, EmS F-A / S-I. A safety data sheet is a hazard-communication document, not a performance test.
ChargingFactory record USB / Type-C rechargeable direction.
Display and controlsFactory record One-touch power button with a backlit panel carrying hydrogen and battery indicators. The source images show a base display with hydrogen and battery indicators.
Self-cleaningFactory record Built-in self-cleaning cycle. The published maintenance guidance is manual: rinse after use, descale only by the approved method, and keep the electrical base dry.
Water, care and conformity
Care and cleaningFactory record Rinse after use. Descale only by the approved method. Never scrape the electrode plate. Keep the electrical base dry. Never add salt, electrolyte powders or flavouring. Never use chlorine bleach, solvents or abrasives. Mineral deposits collect around the electrolysis area, the seals and the threads, so inspect those monthly.
Electromagnetic compatibilityDocumented CE Certificate of Conformity ZTS26062235UCE (test report ZTS26062235URE), EMC Directive 2014/30/EU, standards EN IEC 55014-1:2021 and EN IEC 55014-2:2021. Names 44 models including H88 and W10-2. The certificate states it is based on a single evaluation of the submitted samples and does not imply an assessment of the whole production.
Restricted substancesDocumented RoHS Certificate of Conformity ZTS26062238SCH (test report ZTS26062238SRH) against Directive (EU) 2015/863 amending Annex II to Directive 2011/65/EU, tested to the IEC 62321 series and EN IEC 63000:2018. Names 44 models including H88 and W10-2.

Product two

H2 Pitcher. W10-2 Full Specification

2 litre countertop kettle for the household: bigger volume at a gentler everyday rating. Model-specific laboratory testing is on our roadmap for hydrogen or ozone, and this page does not borrow the bottle’s results.

W10-2 hydrogen water kettle in black, manufacturer packshot with the base display
Manufacturer packshot of the W10-2. Two circular electrolysis modules are visible in the chamber base in the supplier’s detail imagery; the supplier’s written record describes the cell only as a hydrogen generation system.
W10-2 specification
Identity and format
ModelDocumented W10-2 appears on five held document model lists and matches the source imagery.
Product nameH2 Pitcher, the Peakspan H2 name for the W10-2.
CapacityFactory record 2,000 ml (2 litres) per batch.
FormatFactory record Countertop kettle with a pour spout, an ergonomic handle and a lid carrying two caps.
Colours shownFactory record Black and white/grey variants appear in the manufacturer’s imagery. Final colour availability is announced at launch.
Hydrogen output
Cycle timeFactory record 3 minutes per batch.
The electrolytic cell
Electrolysis systemFactory record Listed generically as a hydrogen generation system. SPE/PEM is claimed across the supplier’s range but is not named in the W10-2 specification table.
Electrode chambersFactory record Two circular electrolysis modules are visible in the chamber base in the manufacturer’s renders. This is an observation of supplier imagery, not a written specification.
Materials, power and controls
Food-contact testingDocumented Report ZTS26062239DRC lists W10-2 among the models it names, but the two samples handed to the laboratory were the Tritan cup body and the aluminium lid of the bottle. It therefore does not test any W10-2 part, and no food-contact finding is claimed for this device.
PowerFactory record Rechargeable battery option; mains-powered configurations. Final electrical details are announced with the production run.
ChargingFactory record A USB-A to Type-C cable appears in the manufacturer’s retail packaging image.
Display and controlsFactory record LED display or touch control; the base display shows a clock and an animated status, with a touch power control on the base.
Conformity and buying it
Held documentsDocumented Five held documents list W10-2: CE EMC (ZTS26062235UCE), RoHS (ZTS26062238SCH), FCC SDoC (HX260623E043C), the battery safety data sheet (ZTS26062309YRM) and the food-contact report (ZTS26062239DRC). Those model lists do not establish hydrogen performance, production consistency, electrical safety or health outcomes.

Inside the chamber

The H88 stack, layer by layer.

From the vent in the lid down to the electrode plates. Tap a layer to see what each part does and where its figure comes from, exactly as on the product page.

The lid carries a designed vent and pressure-management path, a pressure-release opening is visible in the lid. Manufacturer guidance: never block the vents or probe the release openings. No relief-valve opening pressure is published, so we don't quote one.

Sealing runs through the cap, the threads, the gaskets, the vessel connection and the electrolysis-base assembly. Manufacturer guidance: seals are removable, must be reinstalled evenly, replaced with model-specific parts when damaged, and inspected monthly. The seal material is not published, so we don't name one.

The 320 ml vessel sits above the electrolysis base. Body material: BPA-free Tritan. Separately, report ZTS26062239DRC records BPA not detected in the submitted Tritan body and aluminium lid samples, the electrode and membrane assembly was not part of that test.

The cell is an SPE/PEM design built around a DuPont Nafion N117 membrane. A solid-polymer-electrolyte design is meant to separate the gases formed at the electrodes instead of bubbling electrolysis by-products into the drinking water. QTT report LH2025110015-1 records ozone not detected in water from one submitted H88 sample under its stated method.

Platinum-titanium electrode plates. Manufacturer care guidance: never scrape the electrode plate; descale only by the approved method.

Built-in self-cleaning cycle. The published maintenance guidance is simple: rinse after use, descale only by the approved method, and keep the electrical base dry.

Under the electrolysis base sits pack H88-ZQ-29, 3.7 V, 2,500 mAh, 9.25 Wh, cell 112248 in a 1S2P arrangement, documented in UN 38.3 report S03A25080547U00101 by Guangdong ESTL Technology Co., Ltd. All eight United Nations transport tests passed on the submitted samples, new and again after 25 charge cycles. That is a transport-safety result, not an endurance rating: runtime, charge time and cycles per charge are not published.

The manufacturer’s record gives a USB / Type-C rechargeable direction, and nothing more precise. Final connector, charge time and ingress rating are announced with the production run, manufacturer guidance is not to immerse the electrical base unless the manual explicitly says it is waterproof.

One power button drives both listed cycles. The source images show a base display with hydrogen and battery indicators, which is what this site describes until the production interface arrives, nothing it has not operated.

Every document we hold is published on the certificates page; full field-by-field record on the Flask product page.

The other chamber

The W10-2, what little is written down.

The kettle’s chamber gets the same treatment, and comes up shorter. Four layers, three of them still open.

A 2 litre batch chamber over a powered base, with a pour spout, a handle and a lid carrying two caps. The body material is not published, the supplier states only “material options available by project”, so this site names neither a glass type nor a plastic for it.

The manufacturer’s detail renders show two circular electrolysis modules seated in the chamber base. That is an observation of supplier imagery, not a written specification: the W10-2 record describes the cell only as a hydrogen generation system, and does not name SPE/PEM, a membrane or an electrode material for this model.

The W10-2 makes hydrogen-rich water at a gentler everyday concentration for bigger volumes, on a fast 3-minute cycle. No concentration figure is published; a model-specific laboratory test is on our roadmap.

The base carries an LED display or touch control, and a USB-A to Type-C cable appears in the retail packaging image. Final battery capacity, runtime, mains configuration and UAE plug type are announced with the production run; the held UN 38.3 report covers the bottle’s pack, not this one.

Full field-by-field record on the H2 Pitcher page.

Reading the number

Why a PPB Figure Without a Method Is Meaningless

Dissolved hydrogen is not a fixed property of a device. It is a reading, and a reading has conditions.

A dissolved-hydrogen result moves with the water temperature (Henry’s law, gases dissolve less readily as water warms), the water source, the fill volume, the cycle length, how long you wait before sampling, and the instrument used. Change any one of those and the number changes. That is why every concentration figure on this site is printed with its scope attached rather than as a headline on its own.

It is also why two familiar shortcuts are not measurements. An ORP meter reads oxidation-reduction potential, and a TDS or conductivity meter reads dissolved solids, neither one measures dissolved molecular hydrogen. Visible bubbles are not a measurement either: bubbling proves that electrolysis is happening, not that the gases were separated correctly or that any particular concentration reached the water.

The one independent figure this site publishes carries all of its conditions: 8,600 PPB dissolved hydrogen in the sealed cup, immediately after one 10-minute cycle, on one submitted H88 sample, in Watsons distilled water at 21.2 °C, measured under T/GDID 1007-2018 by Guangdong Quantum Testing Technology Co., Ltd: QTT report LH2025110014-1, dated 1 December 2025 and commissioned by the manufacturer. Hydrogen begins escaping the moment the bottle is opened, so that figure describes the water at the end of the cycle inside a sealed cup and nothing else.

Everything the report does not cover stays uncovered: the 5-minute mode, water that has been standing, any other water source, any other unit, and the kettle. And Peakspan commissioned none of it, independent testing that we pay for ourselves is a different and better class of evidence, and we do not have it yet.

Over time

Service Life, Wear and Replaceable Parts

An electrolysis cell is a consumable in slow motion. Here is what the record says about how these devices age, and how little of it is written down.

Longevity, servicing and the terms that actually apply
What damages the cellFactory record The electrolysis plate and the membrane carry coatings and small flow paths that abrasion can damage. Mineral deposits collect around the electrolysis area, the seals and the threads. Manufacturer guidance: never scrape the electrode plate, descale only by the approved method, and never use bleach, solvents or abrasives.
User-replaceable partsFactory record Seals are described as removable, to be reinstalled evenly, and replaced with model-specific parts when damaged, with monthly inspection recommended. Nothing in the record describes the membrane or the electrode assembly as user-serviceable.
Manufacturer warrantyFactory record The supplier lists a 12-month commercial warranty on the SPE/PEM base component, with replacement modules supplied in a following shipment on functional failure. That is a business-to-business term offered to a brand owner, it is not a term between you and Peakspan, and it is not what governs your purchase.
The terms that govern your purchaseStore policy, administered by Peakspan (1313 GEROPROTECT L.L.C-FZ): unopened, unused products in original saleable packaging may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Opened products are not returnable for change of mind; rights for faulty or incorrectly supplied goods remain under applicable consumer law. Checkout links the operative terms before confirmation. Read them in full on the policies page.
Stop using the device ifFactory record Manufacturer safety guidance: stop use on abnormal heat, swelling, leakage into electrical areas, or any visible battery damage.
Living with it

Care, Cleaning and Water

All of the following is manufacturer guidance. Where the guidance is silent, and on water it largely is, this page stays silent with it.

Every day

Factory record Rinse after use. Keep the electrical base dry and do not immerse it, no ingress rating is published for either device. Reinstall seals evenly after cleaning.

Every month

Factory record Inspect the seals, the threads and the area around the electrolysis cell, where mineral deposits collect. Replace damaged seals with model-specific parts.

Never

Factory record Never scrape the electrode plate. Never add salt, electrolyte powders or flavouring to the chamber. Never use chlorine bleach, solvents or abrasives. Never block the vents or probe the pressure-release openings. Descale only by the approved method.

Which water

Guidance Use low-mineral water (TDS below 5). Final guidance ships with the production manual for either device. QTT used Watsons distilled water for its two H88 tests; that is a test condition, not an instruction, and it does not establish compatibility with other water sources. A held factory-only water limit is contradicted by a comparable device and has not been confirmed for the production H88, so this site does not turn it into a customer instruction.

Taking it with you

Travel, Battery and Transport

What the UN 38.3 report settles, and the one thing people assume it settles but it does not.

The bottle’s battery pack, model H88-ZQ-29, 3.7 V, 2,500 mAh, 9.25 Wh, was submitted to Guangdong ESTL Technology Co., Ltd and passed the complete United Nations transport-safety series in report S03A25080547U00101, dated 22 August 2025: altitude simulation, thermal cycling from +72 °C to −40 °C, vibration from 7 to 200 Hz, shock, external short circuit, impact and crush, overcharge and forced discharge. No leakage, venting, rupture or fire was recorded, on new samples and again after 25 charge cycles.

The battery’s safety data sheet, ZTS26062309YRM, classifies it as an article, not explosive, not flammable, not oxidising, not toxic, not radioactive, carried under UN3480 / UN3481 with the Class 9 lithium battery mark, and covers first aid, handling, storage, firefighting, spill and disposal guidance.

What it does not settle: a UN 38.3 report is not an airline permission. It covers the tested battery-pack samples and does not establish acceptance by any carrier, route or baggage policy, check with your airline. It also says nothing about hydrogen output or about the rest of the device. And it covers the bottle’s pack only: no UN 38.3 report is held for any W10-2 battery, so the kettle carries no transport-testing claim on this site at all.

The other half of a specification

What We Do Not Claim

A specification page is only honest if the absent rows are as loud as the present ones. You will sometimes see the claims below elsewhere in this category. We publish only what our documents support, so we do not make them.

  • No health claim of any kind. These statements have not been evaluated by a medical authority. Peakspan H2 products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. We do not borrow clinical or hospital vocabulary to describe a consumer appliance, and no document on this site is a health approval.
  • The kettle runs a gentler everyday rating. A model-specific laboratory test for the W10-2 is on our roadmap; until then its hydrogen figures are published as factory ratings.
  • No chlorine claim. Report LH2025110015-1 is an ozone result. No chlorine measurement has been run on either device, so no chlorine claim is made.
  • No blanket “nothing gets into your water” claim. The food-contact report covers two submitted parts, a Tritan cup body and an aluminium lid. The electrode plate and the membrane assembly, which sit in the water under current for the whole cycle, were not tested.
  • No electrode or membrane construction spec. No plate count, substrate, coating thickness or surface area; no membrane thickness, active area or lifespan. Those figures are not published anywhere, so they are not printed here.
  • No seal material. No silicone grade, no food-grade seal claim. The material is simply not stated by the manufacturer.
  • No valve specification and no patent claim. A pressure-release opening is visible in the lid; no opening pressure is published and no patent ownership is claimed by Peakspan.
  • No waterproof or ingress rating. No IP or IPX figure exists for either device, so none is quoted, and the electrical base is not to be immersed.
  • No glass type for the kettle. The supplier states only “material options available by project”. We do not name borosilicate or any other material for the W10-2 body.
  • No battery endurance figures. No runtime, charge time or cycles-per-charge for the bottle; no battery specification at all for the kettle.
  • No regulatory approval. The food-contact report is a laboratory test measured against FDA regulations, not an FDA approval, clearance, registration or endorsement. The FCC document is a supplier’s declaration, not an FCC approval or certification. We hold no Low Voltage Directive or UL document and claim no electrical-safety approval.
  • No production-consistency claim. Every certificate we hold states that it evaluates submitted samples, not the whole production. We hold no ISO quality-system certificate.
  • Independent testing roadmap. The reports on this page were commissioned by the manufacturer; Peakspan-commissioned independent testing is on our roadmap.
  • Pre-order timing. Pre-order is processed through Shopify. The complete order total is shown before confirmation; fulfilment timing is confirmed by email.

A model list is not a performance result. Being named on a certificate means the certificate covers that model for the specific thing it measures, electromagnetic compatibility, restricted substances, emissions or battery hazard communication, and nothing beyond it. The documents still missing, including a food-contact test of the electrode and membrane assembly and a hydrogen test for the pitcher, are listed at the same size on the documents page.
